I was one of the brave 45 finishers of the seven miler. The course was really neat, but I tweaked my knee slipping on the ice at mile 5.5. Still managed to finish in a decent time, despite having no power on the hills for the last part of the race.

The best comment I heard was from one of the racers who came in right ahead of me. ‘That’s the longest race that I’ve ever done.’ I was thinking that is was one of the shortest races that I’ve done!
